Has it ever occurred to you how much food restaurants and grocery stores are wasting (and yeah, also how much food we are wasting individually)?

Secondly: look at all these apps that you can support in fighting food waste.
Many of those apps allow restaurants to list food that they haven't sold and would throw away. Instead, users can pick it up for a reduced price! The app Olio connects individuals who have food to give away with people who are happy to pick it up and use it. But there are many more. Many are restricted to specific locations but you may want to just check them out anyway, in case you happen to travel there - and maybe, you can help bring an app to your hometown or country?
